We are pleased to offer this stunning sterling silver butterfly pendant and chain. The butterfly is made up of ten marquis simulated sapphire stones and one simulated marquis garnet. The chain is delicate with a sturdy spring ring clasp. It is in good condition and all the stones are well set.

From the brilliant blue of the sky to the intensity of the deep blue sea, Sapphire captures all the shades of blue with luster and luminescence. This particular shade of blue compliments nearly every skin tone, and eye color imaginable. This profound blue color awakens feelings of trust, harmony and friendship. Feelings such as these, prove their worth in lasting relationships. It is ideal for friends and lovers alike.

Garnets have been known to man for thousands of years. Noah, it is believed, used a garnet lantern to help him steer his ark through the dark night. Garnets are also found in jewelry from early Egyptian, Greek and Roman times. Many explorers also carried garnets with them. The garnet was popular as a protective stone, as it is believed to light up the night and protect its bearer from evil and disaster. Today, it is a piece that ads character to any collection and dazzling beauty to every wearer.

Sterling silver is a white and highly reflective precious metal. Sterling refers to silver that is 92.5 percent pure, which should be stamped on the metal, sometimes accompanied by the initials of the designer or country of origin as a hallmark. Although less durable than stainless steel and other precious metals, sterling silver is often employed in watches that coordinate or look like sterling jewelry.
