Description: A lovely scalloped edged sterling silver napkin ring. The hallmarks date it to Sheffield 1922. It features a nice rolled edge that is engraved to resemble a vine. The body of the napkin is solid silver with the only embellishment being the script monogram "RVN". Napkin rings are very collectible and have enjoyed a recent revival due to the growing "green" trend, many people have resurrected the tradition of cloth napkins at the table - instead of using and disposing of paper napkins. Individual napkin rings are then placed at each place setting so that you know which is your napkin to reuse at the next meal. Pairs, sets of 4 & 6 are also available. Makes a great gift!
