Description: This is in excellent condition and measures 1 1/4" tall by 1 1/4" wide. Marked Sterling 925 on top with a R and number. Marking as such usually indicated an imported or exported silver piece.

Cut, polished bottom and sides. The lid has a star hole pattern and is made from Mother of Pearl. This probably belonged to a desk set for a lady or stationary set. Very nice Sander.
