Description: Beautiful sterling silver chatelaine stamp purse. It is shaped like a little envelope with a hinged flap that snaps shut. Some shamrocks are engraved on the flap as seen in photo.

Makers mark also illegible. Hallmarks are very worn. City mark looks like Newcastle which makes the year mark c 1866-67. This further indicates Newcastle as a lower case roman "c" in a circle was used in other cities before postage stamps were issued. Very nice piece of Welsh sterling.

Good to very good condition. Has a few small dings as seen in photo. No cracks or repairs. Some scratching from age and use.
