Description: Three hand colored early stereoviews. The first includes a couple being scared by a ghost and is entitled “The Ghost in the Stereoscope.” The second is an image of a husband helping his wife to walk through a room where the furniture has been disturbed – entitled “Affectionate Husband” with the sub text, “Come, Polly—if I am a little irritable, it’s over in a minute!!” Both photographs have soiling in the margins and the second is a little light. The third, entitled “Gallantry Under Difficulties,” has been stitched back together with fabric thread. A little light, but a nice piece of Americana.
