Description: Elegant Italian carved wood standing floor lamp. This magnificent beauty is carved wood with gesso, gold gilt & teal color polychrome. The carving is elegant & classical .The movement is very naturalistic & fluid as well as bold all at the same time. The condition of this lamp is excellent & it dates from the early 1900’s.It has recently been rewired ,so it is ready to use .It has a contemporary silk shade on it that works rather well ,but a wonderful hand painted Italian shade would truly complete this lamp. Italianesque and stunning and once again the condition is really very good. It measures 71”h with the diameter of the base approximately 15” and the diameter of the shade 20 ¼”.
