Description: This is a square teapot made by Burleigh, England in the 1980s in the floral pattern Charlotte in blue transfer on white ironstone sometimes called The Cube. The square tea pot holds 12 ounces or 2 cups and measures 3.25 inches high by 3.5 inches square. Square teapots were developed in the 1930s for the transatlantic ocean liner trade as a steadier shape in rough seas.
