Description: This is a lovely Damascene, also known as Toledo ware, brooch in the design of a large eight petal flower. Flower petals gently overlap one another to give a very nice dimensional appearance. The brooch is also slightly domed in shape for further added dimension. Ornate black and gold detailing decorate the flower petals.These Damascene pieces are now highly collectible. Measures 2-1/8" inches in diameter and is signed SPAIN on the reverse.
