Description: This 19th c. carved and painted Santos of Jesus measures 12 1/2" h., 4" w. and 3" d. The detail is very nice and the execution of the face exceptionally fine. Typical of most antique Santos, some paint loss and also the left hand is missing. Fortunately, this detail is not readily noticable because of the excessive draping of the cloak Spanish Colonial, 19th c.
