Description:
This fantastic and very large Olla was recovered off of private propperty in the Southern Utah area of Beaver. Ex. M.C.Estes collection, found in the early 1950's. The Olla has some rim damage, a pressure crack on each side. One of the cracks is an ancient crack that was repaired by the Fremont Indians, it still has the reed tie still attached, this is very, very rare. This is a very early Anasazi piece and is museum quality. Fremont pottery is extremely rare and is closely related to the Anasazi pottery.
