This is a beautiful solid mahogany walnut Chippendale claw & ball secretary office desk. It features a desktop that has a luxurious leather top surface, traditional rope edge, 8 pigeon holes, 3 carved drawers, 2 top drawers, a small cabinet on the center that has a crossbanded door and 8 drawers that have traditional facings with metal handles. Two drawers have 2 hidden drawers behind them. In addition there are 2 smooth operating desk drawers that are well constructed with dovetail joinery and they have matching facings with attractive handles. The skirt is adorned with a rope edge and it has gorgeous cabriole legs with carved knees and claw & ball feet. This makes an excellent piece of furniture suitable for home or office.
