Description:
Vintage leatherette jewelry case designed specifically for earrings with 15 compartment. Comes with 15 pairs of vintage rhinestone earrings. Four pairs are sky blue; eleven pairs are clear.The case measures 11 1/8" X 8" X 2". The interior compartments are lined with pink velvet. The inside of the lid is lined in satin. The exterior is salmon pink color with some worn gold stencil designs. The back of the cas is stamped MELE. The case has not been cleaned and there is a cup ring on the lid. Brass closing mechanism is in perfect working order.
The earrings included are: (from upper left to right and top to bottom)
3/4" clear flower screw-on. 1 1/4" clear stud and dangle hoops screw-on. 7/8 domed baguette floral clip-on. 1 1/4 clear marquis and chaton clip-on. 1 3/4" triple tendril screw-on. 1 1/2" blue stud and dangle hoops screw-on. 1 1/8" blue stud and dangle hoops screw-on. 1 1/2" clear elongated floral spray screw-on. 1 1/4" elongated clear studded pointed ovals, clip-on. 3/4" Tri-emerald cut clear dangles. 1 1/8" Blue baguette spray screw-on (some loosed to one of the settings). 3/4" blue, two-layer, open rivet settings, floral screw-on. 1" clear and silvertone pointed oval clip-on. 1" clear pear cut surrounded by chatons, clip-on. 3/4" SARAH COVENTRY clear, layered clip-on.
Some slight darkening on a few of the stones in the triple tendril pair. And as mentioned, some looseness on one of the blue rhinestone pairs ~ still perfectly fine to wear. Otherwise this is wonderful bunch in wearable condition.
The interior of the case has some light age-related mustiness and has not been aired out. You will most likely want to give some fresh air upon arrival.
