Description:
Capturing a cool, winter day, “Snow Covered Cabin” is a high quality reproduction of an expertly rendered and serene watercolor painting. O’Hara masterfully captures the details of the wooden cabin with fine lines and smooth tonal transitions, focusing on details of the steps and stones leading up to the cabin, while leaving large, blank sheets of watercolor untouched to capture the clean, bright sheets of snow. The tree branches and rolling hills in the background are amazingly captured with O’Hara’s pinpoint brushmarks and attention to detail. The mastery of detail throughout this beautiful, panoramic view can be seen the awe striking technicality in the small still life work of the jug and ladder placed in front of the house. The composition is perfectly completed with the atmospheric smoke from the chimney over the cabin flowing off the composition creating a warm mood on a cold day.
This remarkable quality giclee print is embellished by an ornate wooden frame of high caliber. The outline of the frame has a golden carved design that enhances warm hues of the watercolor. To further complement the giclee, a double matt of an elegant moss, green suede is used to complement the cool green hues and an inner crisp white for a sharp outline of “Snow Covered Cabins”. The giclee and frame measures a total of 31” x 24”. Signed in the bottom right corner, this “Snow Covered Cabin” is an example of artistic genius. This giclee will increase in value and is an extraordinary giclee print at a modest price.
