Description:
Featured for your enjoyment is another wonderful item from Minnesota’s Attic. This is a great
old 50’s cast metal fire truck from Smith Miller. It is an aerial ladder fire engine. It is a
consignment item so I will have to ask on any offers. This truck has the small wheels to raise the
ladder, turn the ladder and extend the ladder. The one to raise it is missing and the gears seem to
me to be slipping. The one to turn it has the brass knob missing. One down rigger is missing the
original pad. The head lights are missing. There is a broken “arm” on the back end of the tractor.
It does have paint wear. O.K. all that said. This is a heavy cast metal truck from the Cadillac of
toys makers. It is extremely sturdy for a child’s toy. The tiny Mack dog is still on the hood! The
gears should be an easy fix. All the original decals are clear and in place.
