Description: This wonderful little box pretty much speaks for itself. But I will add some details. It is constructed of white pine and is dovetailed. Interior is lined with the original wallpaper and it has the original lock,escutceon,hinges ans bail handled on the sides. One side rail from the lid is missing. Hand written on inside of lid is From Mrs.Spears New Brighton Pa And again From Mrs Spear New Brighton Pa 1860 Also Mrs Edmond Green Addington. The box surface is alligatored and blistered which only seems to add to its appeal. More details as requested. This is choice.
