Description: Small straight sided coffee can and saucer - mauve banding with gold bands, edges and handle. Chinoiserie pattern inside cup and to centre of saucer - relief enamel highlights. Bone china, made by Allertons of Longton in the Staffordshire Potteries. The mark is for the 1929 - 1942 period. Can is 5.8 cm high and 5.4 cm diameter (2.1/4 inches by 2.1/8 inches). Saucer is 10.7 cm diameter (4.1/4 inches). Excellent condition.
