Description: We are totally blown away when we had the chance to purchase this set of six funky crazy unusual outrageous design semi arm chairs in the walnut stain dating from the 1930s. What a fantastic set of six with the most unusual wooden design. The have a reverse curve arm that curved away from you instead of towards you that are joined together with buttoned caps. They have turn finials on the top and a block routed carved multi-turn spindle back leg that goes down into a framed base. The base rests on four turnip style carved legs. The front legs are a rectangular block with a half spindle applied to the front with a cross stretcher that is carved. The fabric, which I am sure is not as old as the chairs, that is in outstanding condition is an antique style floral design. Against the brown walnut stain these chairs are just simply gorgeous. If you are looking of the unusual, hard to find, and investment minded antiques than you should look no further than this set of six walnut stain chairs. The overall size is 24 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 45 inches high to the top of the round shape back, and 19 inches high to the seat.
