Description: Art Neuveau Casket by Weidlich Bros. of Bridgeport Ct. This is a large figural jewelery box/casket made of heavy white metal that has been plated--now tarnish--with silver. On the lid is a art nouveau lady holding a mirror and preening with a hand behind her head in a dramatic pose. No liner. Hinges work. WB in a shield mark. This casket date's from between 1901 and 1910 when WB Bros. produced Art Nouveou pieces.
