Description: Silk Stocking PRO_MENDER, Sewing. This sewing product was made by the Knit Process co. of 1491-5th street, Detroit, Michigan. In the 1920’s thru the 1950’s Silk stockings were in style. A lot of people could not afford to buy them all of the time, so repair became mandatory. Now day’s you can buy them that look just like they have benzene all over. To own silk stockings showed class, of society. The dimensions I gave are for the paper. The tool is only about 3 inches. I hope it will make a fine addition to your collection.
