Description: Vintage 18K yellow gold, lapis lazuli man's signet ring. Designed by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany, circa 1950-70's

Probably intended as a pinky signet ring for a gentleman, the ring is a US size 6 3/4. Weight approx 9 grams.

Bright yellow gold and vibrant blue lapis lazuli, contrasting and complimenting each other in an energetic combination of materials. The gold is further hammered, adding subtle effects. The ring is not simply round, but has a number of angles and planes, possibly not entirely symmetrical, which is typical of the work of Jean Schlumberger, who was fascinated with nature. The richness of material, colour and design make for an entirely luxurious feel - so comfortable you don't want to take it off your finger.
