Description: This is an exquisite and heavily guilded signed Satsuma vase. It features preening pheasants and cascading lilac flowers. The lip and foot of the vase are decorated with bands of gold. The colors are lush and rich in depth. The condition is excellent with the exception of overall crazing typical of this soft paste porcelain with age. A stunning piece with useful purposes.
