Description:
This is a ORIGINAL Art Deco metal sculpture by L. Carvin circa 1920's. wonderful piece standing on Italian Portora marble ( so were the originals) , and a magnificent study of two ( old style) German Shepherds (Alsatian ) on metal with bronze patina. L. Carvin was particularly noted for his studies of this breed and his works are highly sought after. This piece is signed by the artist , it is not a later reproduction -made in anywhere- this is a original period piece but price has been set really fair for a period piece , so is a great chance to get it. Typically the artist worked in Bronze and Spelter with bronze Patina. This piece is approximately 20" tall x 16" wide x 10 D and is in excellent conditions.
