Description: Great Czech Art Deco geometrical lidded powder box. Design with simple lines was very popular in Germany and Scandinavian countries in the pre WWII era. The steel gray colored crystal box is"signed" on label : HLOUSEK, Bohemia. Hlousek was one of the renowned glass refiners operating from Zelezny Brod, Czechoslovakia. They closed their operation shortly after the WWII. Acquired directly from the Hlousek Estate in mint condition, dimension : 5-1/2 inches wide, Czechoslovakia circa 1930's.
