Description: This is an English Victorian Sideboard/Welsh Dresser/Buffet. It is made of Oak and has a Deep Oak Patina.We purchased it in London. It is in good condition. The piece has a High Gallery at the back. The Top of the Cornice is finely carved. There is a Glazed Door at the center. It opens to reveal a roomy interior for displaying a tall piece of china. The Door is flanked by Two Shelves at either side. A Scalloping Apron flows along the bottom. There are Double Doors below. These are made in Sunken Center Panel Design. The Corners of the Panels are canted. The Doors open to reveal Two Roomy Compartments for storing your additional China. Tapering Bobbin Turned Pilasters flank the Doors. The piece is supported upon ornate Baluster and Bobbin Turned Legs with Bun Feet. A Straight H-Form Stretcher connects them. This is a very fine English Victorian Sideboard.
