Description: ~From Ohio we obtained this outstanding American Oak Sideboard. A magnificent beveled mirrored crown, covered in fancy, applied carving, sits above this piece and sets the stage for this lovely piece. Below, a second beveled mirror reflects the shapely candlestands and paw foot supports for them. Additionaly applied carving decorates this area. Two serpentine shaped drawers support the curved counter top. Below these two half drawers is a full-length recessed flat front drawer. And below that are two highly decorated doors that are framed by posts with various types of carvings that eventually end in pawfeet.. These doors open to reveal nice storage compartments. This lovely piece has been professionally restored & refinished.
