Description: Beautiful English chronometer by H.G. Blair & Co. 95 Bute Docks, Cardiff. No. 1918. 56 hour Mercer fusee movement. Especially nice three tiered rosewood box with ivory plates on front and brass shield on top. The silvered, engraved dial is marked U.S. Army indicating that at some point this chronometer made it's way into the U.S. military inventory as was often the case in both World Wars. Keeping excellent time.
