Description:
These attractive mahogany dining chairs were recently hand-crafted using techniques perfected by master craftsmen in England. The mahogany has a subtle grain and rich complexion which will grow more beautiful as they age and the patina begins to develop. These chairs are styled in the tradition of the George III ladder back chairs with charming ribbon-like designs across the back and along the top rail. There is also black drop-in seats cushions which are removable for simple reupholstering, if desired. This set suits a large table, since there are (6) side chairs and (2) armchairs. It will accompany the most grand of tables, we can supply you from our stock or through custom order. The drop-in seats are supported by cross struts and a 2" thick seat rail. An H-shaped stretcher provides these chairs with even more stability. There is some slight bubbling on the back of the upper corner of (1) chair. Otherwise this set is in fine condition.
