Description:
A set of four Royal Satsuma Nippon demitasse cups and saucers, ca. 1920's. Each cup has a round center panel on the sides with one side depicting a stream and the other a Japanese lady by a bridge. Each cup depicts a Japanese couple on a bridge. The set is very ornately decorated with raised beading, gold trim and accents, and hand painting in shades of white, black, pale blue, brown, and light rust. Each bears the Royal Satsuma cross and circle logo in blue on the reverse. Shipping quoted upon sale.
