Description:
This is a hardcover cookbook called Serve It Cold. It was written in 1968 by June Crosby and Ruth Conrad Bateman. It has 224 pages including the index. According to the dust jacket, the recipes meet two exacting standards. They must be uncommonly delicious, and whether previously cooked or not, they must attain their fullest taste potential when served cold. You might find a few spots or markings in the margins but nothing drastic. I don't see any rips or scribbles. The original dust jacket has wear as seen in the pictures. The condition is very good considering it's age. Sample recipes are: Chicken in Snow, Stuffed and Sauced Eggs, Colonel Beach's Beef Supreme, Chinese Chicken Salad, Asparagus Mimosa, Spicy Tomato dressing, Nectarines Vanilla, Vinegar Beets, and Tortoni Ribbon Cake. Whether you are a gourmet or a beginner, this Serve It Cold cookbook is a classic and will provide great meals for years to come.
