Rare Antique Dog Art. Lithograph of Mr. Henry Brook's Scottish Terrier "Kilroy" (25,089), c.1890, by Gustav Muss-Arnolt. 8" x 10.5", with rough top edge and enough clear border for matting and framing, pencil marks on most of top half of litho. Fair condition. Gustav Muss Arnolt was one of a small group of American painters, among them Percival Rosseau and Edmund Osthaus, who specialized in the depiction of sporting dogs. He was also a well-known dog show judge all over the United States, England and in his native Germany.
