19th century Scottish scrap screen is a combination of large and small prints,note-cards,one shown with a piece of the hand written message,etc. cut out by hand and put together as a collage,some surrounded by borders others with titles such as" Chester Castle","The Peacemaker",two children making peace with two roosters by means of a long piece of grass. Scenes on both sides. The thick scraps ae an oil cloth or paper with vibrant coloring and mounted over muslin against black wide wooden panels. Gorgeous portraits and prints with a humorous mix of other such as a mother with little son across her lap sewing his pants while he is still in them. Overall very good condition,tiny areas of missing paper in few areas. Wide 24" panels with length of 75" X 63.5H X 6D.
