Description: Produced by Schafer & Vater, circa 1920s, this pink/lavender oval jasperware trinket jar, depicts, in the center, and in white bas-relief, a lady playing a lute,against a teal blue bisque background. The rest of the lid, in pinkish lavender bisque, is further adorned with both black and pink porcelain jewels as is the jar. Measuring 5 inches long x 2 1/2 inches tall and is marked on the bottom with the Schafer and Vater crown and a number to faint to discern. This very lovely piece of old delicate jasperware pottery is in excellent condition
