Description: Produced by Schafer & Vater, c1900 this green Jasperware teapot features in detailed white bas-relief over green bisque an ornate lid and a teapot adorned with, on both sides, a young woman reclining, a bird on her hand, and a little cupid lingering nearby. Measuring about 5 1/2 inches in diameter at the base x 4 1/2 inches tall x 7 inches from handle to spout. Marked with the number 3197 with both lid and teapot in excellent condition.
