Description: This lavender Jasperware Art Nouveau round and footed Schafer & Vater hair receiver features a lid with four symmetrically placed winged cherubs, frolicking and holding hands. The lid is further decorated with a frieze of green fan like ornaments. The base is adorned with an angelic cameo surrounded by fancy scroll work above lavender jasperware background. Marked with the number 37 above the S & V number 3691, measures 3 inches tall x 4 across and, with the exception of two nicks on the rim of the base, is in excellent condition.
