Description: Beautiful Sarreguemines faience letter rack decorated with gilt on a cobalt blue background. It is marked on the underside with an impressed Sarreguemines in block, un-serifed letters, a mark used between 1889 and 1922 approximately. The Sarreguemines manufacture was at one time referred to as the French Wedgwood for its fine quality and classic decoration. In very good condition with minor imperfections as shown.
