Description:
Sandy, The Autobiography of a Star. As told to William Berloni and Allison Thomas. New York: Simon and Schuster, 1978. BCE. 8vo., 93 pp., pictorial dust jacket moderately rubbed and with tiny losses at spine head, navy blue cloth with blind-stamped dog print on cover, some soiling to bottom edges and inside back board edge, endpapers slightly toned, content clean, illustrated with black-and-white photographs, in Very Good condition. The heartwarming true story of a pound mutt who stole the spotlight in Broadway's smash hit "Annie". Sandy was saved from a pound in Connecticut by Bill Berloni, who was to become his trainer. Sandy is pictured with some big-name actors including Barbra Streisand, Burt Reynolds, and other famous persons such as Muhammad Ali. A very wonderful story.
