Just right to complement an old Oriental tea or chocolate set!

This is a very old, obviously hand-painted set of four cups and saucers, featuring a lovely pastoral scene. All are stamped "Made in Japan" on the bottom. Cups measure 2 1/8" across x 2 1/4" high. Saucers are just under 4 1/4" in either direction. As so often happens with these old hand-painted sets, the paint isn't always completely evenly applied as would be the case with something machine produced. There is some gentle wear to coloring as well, though nothing terribly significant. No cracks, but one small chip at the rim of one of the cups, which we have tried to show in the last photo. There are 3 extra saucers as well in case any break.
