Description: A faience plate made in the Provencal town of Saint Amand, France famous for its pottery since the 15th century. This plate is an armorial plate with the Liberty cap and the motto Vive La Liberte Sans Licence. Hand painted and in excellent condition. See the last photo for marks. I have been unable to name the maker.
