Description:
This Russian wardrobe is a one of a kind treasure.
All European pine furniture was original painted, some pieces decoratively others not. This was to preserve the piece from moisture and insects. The furniture has gone into a caustic bath, and then it gets power washed. Next it goes into a drying room. After the drying room it goes into a joining room where it is re-glued and clamped. Any damage repaired, any missing pieces replaced.
The next room is a sanding room and then a waxing room. This piece instead of being waxed was painted.
The paint is a special powder pigment paint. It is first painted a burgundy red, then white, then the finish color and the trim. Finally the last step is a fine wax.Has working lock and key.
The process is unique leaving this antique piece with soft French Country colors.
It will become a family heirloom the moment it enters your home.
