Item/Description: Pair of/Two (2) Vintage ca. 1940s Royal Winton Staffordshire Transfer Ware/Transferware (? and Handpainted) "Indiana State Parks" Commemorative Souvenir-Ware Collector Gold-rimmed (? real gold) Plates. Each Plate face contains colorful and artistic graphic imagery, one depicting the front facing/facade of the Spring Mill Inn with vintage automobiles and the other that of the Clifty Inn, and is captioned as follows:
*Plate #1 Commemorates - Spring Mill Inn, Spring Mill State Park, Mitchell, Indiana
*Plate #2 Commemorates - Clifty Inn, Clifty Falls State Park, Madison, Indiana

Manufacturer/Identification/Markings: Underside of each plate is marked/backstamped in brown and/or brownish-red ink "Made in Staffordshire England - Jonroth England & Royal Crest/Logo - Royal Winton"; additional markings are as follows:
*Plate #1 - Blue-ish backstamp "18;" incised "9" and "50;" and captioned in brown ink"Imported for Spring Hill Inn, Spring Hill State Park, Mitchell, Indiana"
*Plate #2 - Black backstamp "Royal Winton Grimwades Made in England A;" red ink "11;" and incised "5" and "52"; captioned in brownish-red ink "Imported for Clifty Inn, Clifty Falls State Park, Madison, Indiana"

Condition: EXCELLENT, remaining VIVIDLY COLORFUL and evincing no noted nicks, chips, cracks, breaks or repairs, albeit a normal bit of minor crazing. Undersides evince a smattering of pitting marks, and one of the plates evinces a very faint scratch mark in the graphics
