Description:
Modern/Art Deco hi gloss steel or chrome waffle iron, in very good condition, no pitting of the metal. Electric Round waffle iron, plates measure 8.5 inches Base measures 10.75 excluding bakelite side handles. It stands 3-5/8 - 4 inches high. All handles are bakelite, and there are four disc bakelite feet. (The front circle foot appears to have been replaced somewhere along the line. I am not sure if it is bakelite replacement, but it is smaller than the other feet, black, and appears to be bakelite.) The inside plates are seasoned, the outside in very good conditioned and kept clean. Obvious use over its near 70 year history. Works like a champ and makes the best waffles, no matter the recipe. Waffle iron is made by the Robeson Rochester Corp, in Rochester NY. 110-120V-660W, D-34. Cord is a 3 prong replacement for the old one that was lost in a move. Old wiring is sound and unit is in very good working condition. If for a collector item, you may want to steam clean because the plates are seasoned.
