Description:
This Royal Doulton Figuring is the first figurine ever produced by the factory. HN #1 was first produced in 1913 and this figure is the second production, dating between 1929 and 1959. "Darling" is just that, a dear child with cherubic face, blue eyes and golden har. The figure stands with one hand to its mouth and the other at its side and is wearing a white nightgown. It stands on a black plinth. This figure is painted with the quality of workmanship from the 30s and 40s and is just lovely. The child has rosy cheeks and a nice colour. This has the Royal Doulton Green Backstamp with the name "Darling" on the bottom. The HN # 1319 is hand painted in green. The figure is absolutely Mint, no chips, cracks, imperfections or flaws. The book price for this figure is $375 Canadian.
