Description: This is a Royal Doulton cup for the 1937 Coronation of HM King Edward VIII. This Coronation never took place because he abdicted to marry his true love. I am sure these items went begging at the time but now are quite collectible. Other companies made coronation souveniers, including a cup for Edward VIII, but none compare to the quality or look of a Royal Doulton. This cup is in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
