Description: This beautiful 7.2" plate was produced for Christmas 1973 by Royal Copenhagen of Denmark. Collected by thousands of Christmas enthusiasts worldwide, Royal Copenhagen is one of the finest names in Christmas collectibles.

This plate was painted by Kai Lange, and is entitled "Going Home for Christmas". Going home for Christmas in Denmark often means going home by train. For more than 125 years trains have played an important role in the lives of the Danish people, now commemorated for the holidays in this special Royal Copenhagen plate.

The plate is stamped on the back by its manufacturer with the Royal Copenhagen logo and the title of the plate. A string is attached to the top of the plate for easy hanging and display.
