Gorgeous hard-to-find pattern!
Description:
Royal Albert was originally founded as T.C. Wild & Sons in the 19th century. It prospered quickly, and in 1896 it took over a factory known as the Albert China Works. The "Albert" for which this company was named was named would later become King George VI, father of the current Queen Elizabeth II. Today, Royal Albert, Ltd. is part of the Royal Doulton Group. This Celebration coffee pot from Royal Albert is typical of the types of floral patterns for which Royal Albert became famous. This particular pattern was very popular until it was discontinued in 2001, and is becoming increasingly harder to find. This coffee pot stands 9 inches tall. It holds approximately .8 litre. It is in excellent undamaged condition.
