For Sale I have a Lovely piece of Art Pottery made by the Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The Pattern Line is "Ivory" and it is the Very hard to find Double Handled Tall Vase.The Vase displays a very nice Satin Matt White Glaze that is very pleasing to the eyes. The Vase has that Classic Round Footed Greek Urn Shape and the Deco/Modern Applied Handles just accents this piece wonderfully. Its just a Great Vase Shape!
The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, or chips. The only issue is very minor. There is a tiny flea glaze nick the size of a pencil tip on the underside bottom corner. This cannot be seen when displayed. There is a factory glazed over nick on the bottom exterior edge round edge as well. This is factory and is insignificant but mentioned to be accurate. The Vase is signed with the "Roseville" impressed mark along with the mold number "740-10".
Those of you who collect Matte white will truly welcome this fine example into your collection. It is a wonderful example in both Form and Glaze color. Usually this Vase when found has damage as it is almost 11" tall but his one did not!! I'm sure the Buyer will be very pleased with their purchase. This Vase was made circa 1933.
