Description: For Sale I have a Very Nice Vase made by the Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The Pattern is the highly sought after "Bushberry" Pattern and the Shape is known as a "Cornucopia" or "Horn of Plenty".

The Pattern Displays very Detailed Embossed Maple Shaped Leaves and Clusters of Bush Berries Growing from a Heavy Stem. This stem rises from the foot and grows into the mid section of the Cornucopia Vase. The background of the Vase resembles that of Tree Bark with a Horizontal Grain thus giving this Vase that Life Like appearance. The Background Glaze is a Terra Cotta or soft Orangey/Brown with wonderful deep sage greens applied to the embossed leaves and rolling off to the edges.

The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no, cracks, chips, nicks, or dings. The only issue isn't really an issue. There is a small and I mean small flake on the bottom edge beige clay. It appears to have been made this way as it is smoothed over. The Vase is signed on the bottom with Roseville U.S.A. in Raised Relief along with the mold number 154-8". There is the number 13 incised and more than likely was the finishers number. There is also the letter "P" and the number "9" written in a Black Grease Pencil. These were probably the Artist Initial and 2nd finisher's number.

This is the Larger Rarer Size in this Roseville Line. This is a Lovely Piece of Art Pottery in a Very Desirable Pattern. The Mold is Crisp and the Detail is just wonderful. I'm sure the Buyer will not be disappointed. This vase was made Circa 1941.
