Description:
From Studio Line by Rosenthal, a great
looking mid-century modern coffee set. It's
from the "Studio-linie" Composition series
and decorated with the Ice Flower pattern. The
designer is the Scandinavian master Tapio
Wirkkala. He is probably best known for his
"Crumpled Bag" vases also designed and made by Rosenthal.
The set includes: Coffee pot, 8 1/2" tall,
Covered sugar bowl, 3 1/2", 6 pedestal cups,
3 1/8" tall, 3" diameter, 6 saucers, 5" diameter,
6 luncheon/dessert plates, 7" diameter. The
bottom of the coffee pot is marked Rosenthal
Germany with the signature of the artist. Other
pieces have only green Rosenthal backstamp.
All pieces very good condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. All are undamaged, except for one cup which has a tight hair line crack. This set does not include a creamer
