Description: 1st Century AD Roman gold earring - this dainty little hoop would have been worn through the ear, but now t is a tiny ring around the back hoop which is suspended from a stud and butterfly fitting so you can wear it. The item is made in yellow gold, very thin on the face area, with shaped sides. It measures about 1.2 cm diameter (7.16 inch). The face area has two little tears on one side edge. But look at the age! Found in England.
