VINTAGE ROLEX MENS OYSTER PERPETUAL DATE 18k ROSE OYSTER DEPLOYMENT RIVETED LINKED BRACELET CHAMPAGNE LINED DIAL Ref. 1603. Fine and rare low production. All original 18k rose gold bracelet and watch. Featured is the original rose gold or rose champagne colored dial with Rose Gold baton figures and Rose original matching hands. Unique design and extremely low production. All components are original, most interesting is the early Rolex riveted linked bracelet. Also, and even more interesting to the Rolex watch collector is this original 18k Rolse Gold deployment bracelet. This riveted linked bracelet was designed by Rolex as early mass production run to create dependency. They figured that only Rolex could remove or add links, therefore creating dependency upon the Rolex dealer and excluding competition. Latter, in the 1970s, Rolex decided to make it eaiser to change the links by any watchmaker because of all the complaints from consumers world wide. This original bracelet is in museum quality condition, very tight with the original factory finished 2-tone surfaces. This original Rolex style bracelet is finer built, fits closer to the wrist and tapers to 12mm diameter when it joins the deployment clasp for a very stylish look lost in the 1960s.

DIAL: Mint linen pattern surface champagne color with Rose colored hands and baton figures. Signed: "ROLEX/ Oyster Perpetual Date", and "Superlative Chronometer/ OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED". Nice, matches the case and is original.
MOVEMENT: Ref. 1603 automatic original movement.
CASE: 18k Rose gold screw back ref. 1603, serial No. 6,196,363. Original Rolex 18k Rose gold Logo Crown. Like new; all 18k Rose gold. Bracelet is average men's length deployment and original riveted links. All surfaces are original and distraction free. Nice.
